So much to do, with so much time to do it

My good friend and I who are co-writing this blog, are taking a little vacation away from our normal college lives and doing a semester abroad.  When we were little kids we always told our parents that we were going to go to college in Hawaii. Well, needless to say that didn't happen and our parents are probably glad. Instead we figured the next best thing would be to do a semester together. But to where?

If you can't tell by the name of our blog, we are going let me give you a little hint. Where did the Olympic games start? Give up? If you know the answer kudos to you! If not, Open a Book and learn something! However, preventing you from stop reading I'm going to tell you. We decided we are going to Greece, Athens to be more specific.

To understand the title of our blog you would have to know our last names. Not only that but also how Greek we think we are going to be while over there. Pretty much any name that end is opoulos, riadis or anything else that is really hard to pronounce is Greek. We decided to come up with a bucket list for things we want to do while in Greece and throughout Europe. Kinda like the movie, except with out the rich private jets, the old age, the dieing, neither of us are making millions of dollars to have fun, and were not Morgan Freeman nor Jack Nicholson.

Greece has 9800 islands! Some big, some small, some inhabited, some with the same amount of life form as Mars. Our first item is to visit as many islands as we can. We also decided that because we are going to visit so many islands, we decided that we would have the privilege to name one. Hence the name of the blog. If you can Pronounce the name correctly, you will win a souvenir.

I'll give you a little preview of our program. We are going through the University of Indianapolis, Odyssey Program. We are stay around the Plaka, in Athens. Our view from the main academic building is speechless. (picture below)

If your have any suggestions on what we should or should not add to our list please comment below to let us know.

10 days till Greece!
